Autostereoscopic displays emit light signals in various directions, which makes each eye see a different picture. This leads to the impression of 3 dimensional vision.

There are different technical possibilities for guiding the light signals. Leading displays have up to nine light-diffractions.

Therefore, the 3D-effect can be seen by many people at the same time – over a wide viewing angle 'multiview' and without extra 3D-glasses.
